Dear Mom and Dad,

In this lifetime we don't get to choose our parents. God blessed me with two of the greatest parents that ever walked the earth. Anyone can have a child and call themselves "parents" but real parents put their children above their own needs and wants. I thank my parents for raising me in a loving household and loving me unconditionally. I thank my parents for always being my biggest supporters, my teacher, my therapist, my best friend. Being a parent doesn't come with a manual but you learned, you took the time to love, learn and provide and for that I can never repay you. You have taught me so much and college has taught me how much you can actually miss your parents... (WOW! I know right) I remember growing up and always thinking "I can't wait to move out and grow up," I got a taste of reality and well let's just say I wouldn't mind being little again. I thank my Mom for showing me how to be a woman of God, how to love and carry myself as a lady. How to be independent and dream big. I thank my father for being my first love, being my hero and having all the answers to my questions. Treating me like nothing less than a princess and giving the best advice. If I don't say it enough I love you and I thank you for being my parents.

Sincerely,

The greatest child you ever had because none of your other children are as wonderful as me.
